The BBC has finally released details of its commentary team for the Royal Wedding (to the papers), and it will be Huw Edwards whispering on your tv over the nuptials in the Chapel “I'm thrilled to be part of the presenting team for the Royal Wedding celebrations. It's always great to get out from behind the news desk, and with this live day of coverage we'll be bringing BBC viewers the latest from Windsor as the excitement builds throughout the day”.
Clare Balding hosts the main bits for radio, carried simultaneously on Radio 4, 5Live and The World Service, with Eleanor Oldroyd charged with whispering during the service.
The extensive surrounding tv and radio team has no room for Sophie Raworth and Fiona Bruce, who flanked Huw for Prince William's wedding.
Meanwhile the BBC and unions are set to announce what progress, if any, they've made at ACAS on terms and conditions of service. Don't be distracted.
