Simon Hart, 54, is another new member of the DCMS Select Committee. The Tory MP for Camarthen West and South Pembrokeshire, went to Radley College (one of three private schools still boasting its own beagling pack - the others are Eton and Stowe) and then studied at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester.
He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, and served with the TA for five years. He was master of South Pembrokeshire Hunt for ten years, and Chief Executive of the Countryside Alliance for seven years. He's no fan of Chris Packham.
