Ads have been placed for a Chief Operating Officer in her group, which means Darren Cockburn, a former colleague from Channel 4, is moving to pastures new. And for a new Group Finance and Operations Director, a role up to now held by Ian Haythornthwaite, domiciled in the picturesque Preston suburb of Woodplumpton, who joined Auntie in Salford in 2010.
