Explainer

There's been a little light re-building of the "How the BBC is run" section of the corporate website, with new mugshots of the key players (except Valerie Hughes D'Aeth). All the males are wearing ties, except James Purnell. Ken MacQuarrie's name is finally correctly capitalised. We learn that Simon Burke will chair an Audit & Risk sub-committee of the main Board; Ian Hargreaves will chair Editorial Guidelines and Standards, and Tom Ilube will look after Fair Trading. Chairs get an extra £5k on top of the non-executive standard pay of £33k. There's a new holding page for Board and Sub-committee minutes.  Beyond excited....
