Here's a guess - the next big Comic Relief Red Nose special, due in 2019, will be in a traditional studio - either TC1 back at Television Centre, or Elstree.
Last night, the hard surfaces and multiple rooms of "superclub" Building Six at the O2 overwhelmed anyone trying sharp, fast humour. Tight play-ins of clips were few and far between, gags echoed around the concrete pillars, and performers were ill-at-ease throughout - struggling to hear and be heard, while someone fuelled an open green room with too much drink. It only vaguely improved when Sir Lenny shouted at them, during Graham Norton's teetering attempt at a mega-chat show with 30-odd guests.
