The licence fee that allows you to watch live tv and the iPlayer in the UK goes up to £147 a year from April.
I wish it was expressed monthly more often.
BBC Licence Fee, for a household £12.25
Basic Sky packages, for one screen £22.00
Netflix, HD on two screens £7.49 - but you need broadband
BT £0 a month, rising to £3.50 - but you have to have their phone and broadband at £29.99
Amazon Prime, on one screen £7.99 - and one-day delivery on goods bought via Amazon; you still need broadband
YouTube's new streaming proposal, in the States, gives up to six users access to four major networks and 35 cable channels, for around £28.50. Again, you need internet access.
