Oxford University's Vice-Chancellor and 38 college and hall heads wrote to The Times yesterday "to urge MPs to support the House of Lords amendment guaranteeing the right of EU citizens who live in Britain to remain here after Brexit."
We're pleased to note that the name of Mark Damazer, Master of St Peter's College and former Controller Radio 4, was missing from the list of signatories. Quite rightly so, as a BBC Trustee, dealing with editorial issues etc for the next two weeks; and then, of course, the Trust is no more. (Unless, of course, Mark applied for a gig with the new unitary Board.)
Yes, just two weeks to go, and we still haven't got a complete list of new BBC non-executives. Shambles.
