The awkward flirting of John Bishop, 50, and Pamela Anderson, 49, didn't do much for The Nightly Show, which averaged 1.4m viewers last night - an audience share of 9.1%. But, according to The Mirror's Ian Hyland, ITV are quite pleased that their audience aged 16 to 34 in the slot has increased by a quarter during the 'experiment'.
Meanwhile, the incessant trailing of Laura Kuenssberg's pink coat and black high heels didn't do much for Brexit: Britain's Biggest Deal at 9pm on BBC2 - atttracting an average audience of just 990k over the hour, and a 5.1% share.
