Yesterday we picked up on a BBC Trust end-of-life report saying that the average age of a viewer to BBC1 has risen to 61.
The Mail has noted the story too. The average age of a Mail reader, when last reported in 2014, was 58; up from 54 in 2008. The 2014 figures show 45% of the readership aged over 65. Skewing oldest is the Telegraph, with an average age of 61.
