BBC News chief James Harding has found a new Head of Internal Communication and Engagement to help develop a little more love between the dashing journalist/presenter and his anxious staff.
Emily Kirwan (nee Gibbs) has radio reporting experience from her home in New Zealand, and joins from Ernst and Young, where she was Associate Director of Communications and Engagement. Before that, she helped Lionel Barber get his messages across to staff at the FT through "Digital Learning Weeks", and won the title "2013 European Young Communicator of The Year", judged by the European Association of Communication Directors.
She describes herself as a news junkie and a yogi triathlete.
