Former Sky News political hack Joey Jones is joining PR firm Weber Shandwick as Head of Public Affairs, and starts work next week.
The announcement lacks background spin on Joey's previous couple of months. He signed as media adviser to Theresa May at the Home Office in May, and many thought she was assembling a team for higher office. But when, in July, rugged Theresa began putting together her not-inconsiderable No 10 backroom team, there was no gig for Joey. Maybe spinning for Amber Rudd is less rewarding.
