In case new Culture Secretary Karen Bradley thinks BBC staff are living high on the hog, I have been sneaked a picture of the re-opened News Cafe at Broadcasting House - the only 24-hour sit-down eaterie inside the building.
It's been closed since 5th August for refurbishment, depriving night workers of egg and chips. You wouldn't say, from first glance, that there's much sign of overspending on the project.
