Plenty of commercial news experience in Theresa May's team at No 10. Fiona Hill/Cunningham, one-time newsdesk operative at Sky, is re-habilitated and back on board. Katie Perrior is installed as Director of Communications - she first worked for Theresa as a media advisor back in 1999, then spent a year each in the press teams of ITV and Channel 4.  She worked for David Davis for a year, and then helped BoJo get elected as London Mayor. She was a Bexley councillor for 12 years.

Lizzie Loudon becomes Press Secretary. She worked for Ian Duncan Smith at the DWP until he resigned, and was communications manager for the Vote Leave campaign. Many people will be in receipt of emails from her over the past six months autosigned with a clear message about "£350m a week" and "The NHS".

Elsewhere, Will Walden follows Boris Johnson to the Foreign Office. Salma Shah, once of Princess Productions and a broadcast journalist with the BBC, follows Sajid Javid from BIS to Local Government.
