Here's a BBC Honour we missed at the weekend. Graham Kenneth Ellis, already festooned with the titles Deputy Director of Radio, Controller of Radio Production and Chairman of the EBU Radio Committee (plus a reasonable package at £211k) becomes a Lieutenant (previously 'Member 4th Class') of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO).
The gong is in the personal gift of the Queen, and recognises Graham's work as the BBC’s Royal Liaison Officer for the past nine years. Previous incumbent Stewart Morris was also made an LVO.
