It's possible that Alan Yentob had his knees touching the seat in front in one of his last expense claims as BBC Creative Director. A return flight to Los Angeles at £641.18 is likely to be steerage, as the Daily Mail points out.
Of course, we don't know yet what dragged him to California in early November - there's no big news at the moment on the next series of Imagine, in which Alan takes his pajamas and two scarfs to Calais, and also examines the career of Jamaican-born novelist Marlon James.
It's also possible Alan has been filling in the claim sheets himself. For the final quarter of 2015, all his sundry expenses are dated 2014.
