Finally, English National Opera has started to look for a new Artistic Director, more than six months after John Berry "stepped down" from the role. CEO Cressida Pollock has been musing on a possible change of title, but now, buried on the books of headhunters Odgers Berndtson, is a candidate brief for someone to ensure ENO "delivers its artistic goals within the limitations of its resources."
You have until February 17th to apply. Or have a chat with 'arts devotee ' Samantha Colt first, running the Odgers Berndston Arts and Heritage Practice.
1120am update: Equity members in the ENO chorus are to be balloted to see if they're prepared to take industrial over jobs and pay.
