Delight

The National Churches Trust has been handing out pre-Christmas presents, celebrated by their Vice-President, Huw Edwards, whose voice must be hoarse from an endless round of local newspaper interviews.

“I’m delighted that the future of All Saint’s Church, Litcham and St Mary the Virgin, Sedgeford is being safeguarded by National Churches Trust grants", he tells the Eastern Daily Press.

"I'm delighted that this Christmas the future of St Mary's Church, Clydach, is being safeguarded by a National Churches Trust grant", he tells the South Wales Evening Post.

“I’m delighted that the National Churches Trust has been able to provide a £30,000 grant to St Dominica [near Callington]. This funding will help ensure that the church continues to serve local people for many years to come”, he tells The Western Morning News.

"This funding will help ensure that these three much loved Scottish churches continue to serve local people for many years to come”, he tells the Herald in Scotland, with news of grants for St Bride's Roman Catholic Church in East Kilbride, Annan United Reformed Church in Dumfries and Galloway, and St Martin of Tours Episcopal Church in Edinburgh.

"I'm delighted that this Christmas the future of 29 churches and chapels is being safeguarded by National Churches Trust grants", Huw tells Premier News.
