When the Great Accountant finally pulls together the total, real, cost of the BBC's failed Digital Media Initiative, he can now add £415k - the charges the BBC paid to external lawyers to defend themselves, unsuccessfully, against an unfair dismissal claim from former Chief Technology Officer, John Linwood.
