Your role, should you choose to accept it, is "to direct and co-ordinate the policy work that the Trust does, in particular in
response to the Government’s review of the BBC’s Royal Charter". It looks as if the new Director of the Trust, Alex Towers, is not replacing his old role as Deputy Director, and using the money for this new position. Spookily, Alex was Policy Manager at the DCMS when we last went through a Charter Review.
