Marginally confused by the announcement from the BBC's James Purnell that another 100 HR jobs are moving to the Mailbox in Birmingham. We already knew 200 posts from London were heading up the motorway, including Academy (training) staff, the core of HR and Internal Comms, property staff, the trainee and apprentice schemes, and outreach work. (Posts, not people, as the majority of those 200 either took Lord Hall's shilling and exited on voluntary redundancy terms, or inveigled themselves into alternative job titles in London.)
The BBC has a ten year-contract with Capita to run an HR service centre in Belfast - which runs until 2016. Is that where these new bodies have been found ?
