The gestation period for the BBC1 game show Prized Apart was long and unusual. The series itself seems set to be neither.
The first show, of six, got an overnight audience of 3.09m (18.8% share). The second, last night, was down to 2.63m (17% share). Richard Osman, of Pointless and Endemol, says we should judge success by absolute numbers in winter and share in summer. Take your pick. Pointless Celebrities has been returning over 4m in recent outings in the same slot.
