BARB, the audience measurement service, analyses viewing share by genre. In the latest week's data, in May, arts programming across all channels, won 0.31% of viewers, compared with 0.17% in May last year; education stepped up to 0.03%, from 0% last year. Music zoomed from 1.08% to 1.38% over the same period.
