Who might have commissioned the Telegraph's leader this morning, headed, "The BBC's views and structure are outdated: Our national broadcaster is trapped in a bubble of bien-pensant Left-wing views at odds with the rest of the nation. That may be about to change" ?

Could it have been Editor Chris Evans, who was at Brasenose, Oxford at the same time as David Cameron, and who, despite living rather closer to Arsenal, is an Aston Villa fan, probably at least as rabid as the Prime Minister ?  The same Evans who send a round-robin email to every Telegraph subscriber (and a few others) urging them to vote Tory ?
