Sajid Javid has been Culture Secretary for just over a year, and you get the feeling from his tweets over the period, he'll be happier as Business Secretary.
His cultural sheep dip included the premiere of the musical Memphis; The Godfather Live and Madame Butterfly at the Royal Albert Hall; Behind the Beautiful Forevers at the NT; Slava's Snow Show (with the kids) at the Southbank; the Berlin Phil at the Barbican; a visit to the Soane Museum and a chat with Geoffrey Boycott. His Tweets have mourned the passing of P.D.James, Leonard Nimoy and Keith Harris. And taking time to wish Zayn Malik and One Direction prosperous futures after the split.
But the vast majority of his output has been about jobs fairs, street stalls and sports clubs in Bromsgrove, Tory business statistics and sparring with Ed Balls.
