Where are they now ?

A round-up of recent news...

Caroline Thomson, former BBC COO and DG-manque, has added another part-time job to her grab-bag. She's joined the board of the  Government's Shareholder Executive, or ShEx, as the organisation apparently prefers to be known.  It looks after our interests in (or flogs off) companies such as the Met Office, the Land Registry, the Royal Mint, Eurostar etc. ShEx also has a responsibility to drive the release of more radio spectrum - of interest to those who still have FM radios.

Lucy Adams, former BBC HR Director, is on her third company since leaving. She first formed Lucy Adams Associates, which morphed into Disruptive HR, and has now become MD of Firehouse, not a trendy restaurant, but a company specialising in helping companies make better internal presentations. Spookily, they're based in Cowcross St, Clerkenwell - offices where Lucy first perched on leaving Auntie.

Mark Damazer, former Controller of BBC Radio 4, is embroiled in an continuing employment tribunal in his role as Master of St Peter's College, Oxford.

Pat Loughrey, former Director of BBC Nations & Regions, is Warden of Goldsmiths, London - but still has view on news...
