Two new job ads from Auntie today, for a "Digital Content Director", reporting to Director of Television, Danny Cohen, and "Digital Controller, BBC Three" reporting to the Digital Content Director on all digital and technological matters and to the Director, BBC Television on editorial matters.

I'm a little confused - in other organisations, a content director is all about editorial; this BBC version seems to be for some new media guru, who ought to sit with James Purnell and Ralph Rivera.

Anyway, he or she gets to sit on Danny's board - already, at 24, the biggest in the licence-fee funded world.
