Never mind McYes and McNo - Messrs Fincham (ITV) and Cohen (BBC) have squared up toe-to-toe in new scheduling wars.
Both Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor have a Friday show on the 26th of September - both start at 9pm.
Then, on the Saturday, Dr Who gets shifted to follow Strictly, in the hope of a better inheritance than it got last weekend. So Strictly starts at 7pm, The X Factor runs from 8pm to 9.20pm, and the kids have to stay up for a Doctor running from 8.30pm to 9.15pm. Lord Patten would have been grumpy - what will Rona think ?
