Helmsman

This blog has sometimes complained about bits of the BBC seeking safety in the past. 2014/5 should see Poldark, Dangermouse, Civilisation and Mapp & Lucia back on our screens.

But will that be matched by the re-appearance of Michael Grade's braces around the BBC corridors ? The Guardian has the story that the good Lord has applied for the job he was last appointed to in 2004 (and stayed in for just 20 months), but is not clear if he proceeded to interview. Michael (Stowe and St Dunstan's College, Catford) is now 71 and on holiday.  Probably yachting.
