Outstanding

The BBC Executive has finally found some who knows how to post online again, so we have two sets of Executive Board minutes to review, from March and April.

There's a poignancy about the March minutes, with a full paragraph in italics from the DG, thanking non-executive Simon Burke for his three years and three months of service. Strangely, there is no parallel mention for HR Director Lucy Adams, attending her last board after four years and ten months.

Items mentioned only briefly but worth keeping an eye on: headcount, staff engagement and BBC Store.

In April, Simon Burke is there again, as chair of the Audit Committee, noting "the number of outstanding internal audit actions".

• Yentob watchers will be delighted to know that the Creative Director was there throughout both meetings, though not a member of the Executive Board.
