No favours

Fearless, them BBC Trustees. They've just announced that boutique media consultancy Oliver & Ohlbaum are to review "talent pay". O&O was set up by Chief Executive Mark Oliver (BA, Hertford, Oxford University) whose previous roles include Head of Strategy at the BBC (1989-1995), and advisor to No 10's Policy Unit and the DCMS.

Mark's 2009 Policy Exchange paper, on reform of public service broadcasting in the UK, came up with a range of recommendations for the BBC, including, at No 14, "Abolish The BBC Trust".
