The news of backstage tension (at least according to Fiona Fullerton) at Strictly Come Dancing can surely only add to potential piquancy at the live arena tour starting in January. A behind-the-scenes web-cam might be nice.
Seven celebrities are taking part, including finalists Abbey Clancy, Natalie Gumede and Susannah Reid. They are bolstered by Mark Benton, Deborah Meaden, Ben Cohen and Westlife's Nicky Byrne (the mysterious insertion of a 2012 contestant). No Fiona Fullerton, Patrick Robinson, Tony Jacklin, Dave Myers, Julien MacDonald, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Rachel Riley, Vanessa Feltz or Ashley Taylor Dawson. Tickets are from £38.50 to £50.50.
It'll be interesting to see how many Breakfast shows Susannah copes with between 17 January and 9 February - 31 shows in all. Maybe it counts as leave; maybe it's work - the tour is a BBC Worldwide promotion.
