At least one BBC Local Radio manager has got his mind right. Peter Cook, of BBC Radio Suffolk, has selected Etholle George (left) as his new breakfast presenter. Etholle, who left school to train as a City accountant before turning to broadcasting, also boasts two qualifications in interior design, and "several" in scuba diving.
She replaces Terry Baxter, who left in July to become Chairman of Ipswich Central, the town centre's Business Improvement District.
Etholle had ten years at breakfast with BBC Essex; there, the manager has selected James Whale (male) as his new morning host.
