ITN's deputy editor Jonathan Munro has just announced he's leaving after 26 years with the organisation. I suspect that means he's been picked by James Harding to run Newsgathering for the BBC, as we discussed here.
Yorkshire-born Jon went to Nottingham University, where he played with student radio, and got help with his dissertation from then BBC political editor John Cole.
