The footballing loyalties of departing BBC Editorial Director Roger Mosey are to be pulled in new directions this coming season. Already balancing support for Bradford City with an Arsenal season ticket, he moves to the mastership of Selwyn College, Cambridge, where the mens football team hold the Plate, and the womens XI (combined with Robinson College) enjoys weekend games.
On top of that, Bishop Grosseteste University, where Roger is chair of the Council, has just become home shirt sponsors for Lincoln City FC. The Imps, at the historic Sincil Bank, are in the Conference National. The University, presumably with the approval of council, has replaced Timber Stair Manufacturers on the Nike kit.
