Diss: the end

Today the BBC is expected to publish results of the review into bullying and harassment at work by QC Dinah Rose. It's been given the title of "Respect At Work" - spookily also the title of an online training course offered by Eversheds, former employer of BBC HR Director, Lucy Adams.  850 staff, past and present, have contributed.

Dinah's husband, Peter Kessler, used to be in the tv business. He made a wide range of history documentaries for indie Brook Lapping; produced a cult late night magic show called "Stuff The White Rabbit", which ended its run when Mark Thompson became Controller BBC2; he worked on "Here's Johnny" (Vaughan) for C4, and on "Mrs Merton" and "So Graham Norton" for Ten Alps TV/BBC. He now works full time leading Eden Primary, the country's first "free" Jewish state school, newly built in Muswell Hill.

  • The animal kingdom is showing little respect at Broadcasting House. Last night there were sufficient mice visible on the newsroom floor to induce light screaming, bringing the post-mortem into the 10 O'Clock bulletin to an early end.
