Closed for vehicle recovery ?

Ker-rikey. A slow-motion pile-up of Newsnight, a group of very experienced investigative journalists, a victim of horrific child abuse and a policeman or men in the 1990s has left a huge range of other vehicles damaged. The news team in play for the broadcast pointing to a unnamed "senior Tory" was supposedly all new and squeaky clean, with the previous lot off preparing for Pollard.  Last night's apology special had a plot by Kafka, direction by Mel Brooks, and a rather too-knowing script. But they missed some of the other cars atrewn across the BBC motorway.

So now there'll be calls to see the whole chain of referral involved in this one. George Entwistle is apparently on Breakfast after 9am.

Let's hope Tom Watson's intervention of 24 October isn't connected to the same terrifying mistake.
