Orytolagus cuniculus news

It seems Lord Patten is enjoying a little bit of mis-direction in the 2012 DG Stakes.  Two days of interviews complete, and no leaks. The Guardian says the Trust has settled on five candidates, but there's a growing suspicion that more have been seen at this preliminary stage. If these mystery contenders fail to progress, then all well and good - no reputations have been damaged, if "failure" at this hurdle stays cloaked in secrecy. Even more fun for The Trust if they pull a quality rabbit out of the hat, and no-one spots it coming.

The Independent says that, when Greg Dyke was recruited by Sir Christopher Bland in 2000, the runner-up was Michael Lynton, now with Sony in the States, and then CEO of Penguin Books - a secret that held for sometime.
