The audience may have been critical, but the Jubilee weekend figures look to have assured a good set of June totals for BBC1, probably to be followed by a better July. We await full numbers for May, but BBC1 could well have dipped below the 20% share line.
The final of The Voice averaged 7.1m; the final of The Apprentice averaged 6m (less than Countryfile and down from 10.2m last year); but five hours of watery Thames watching came home with an average of 10.3m; and we await figures from the Buck Pal Easy Listening Fest.
(Tuesday update: The Buckingham Palace concert averaged 14.7m over more than three hours)
