Cheeky Channel 4 Culture Man Matthew Cain tweeted thus about Her Majesty from last night's Jubilee Arts bash at the Royal Academy: When she gave out awards she scowled at Alan Yentob's trainers - and beamed with delight when she saw Gareth Malone !
What can have upset her ? Could it be because one Bella Yentob, 17, and daughter of Alan, now stands at 63 in the current Tatler list, two positions ahead of the senior Royal daughter-in-law, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall ? Or is it because Alan ("television titan") himself has slipped to 471 ? Sadly, that can't be it, because Gareth Malone is unplaced in a list totalling 496 luminaries.
