The Sunday Express. Overall, computers, cameras, phones and other equipment to a value of £325k were reported stolen over the year, compared with a total of £239k in 2010.
The figure is likely to be higher. The BBC only reports theft of its own property, not those of staffers who lose their privately-owned property - at least, that was what I found when two of my mobiles were stolen in the workplace.
