December 20 this year marks the 25th Anniversary of the sinking of the Phillipines ferry Dona Paz, which collided with an oil tanker and caught fire. Although official passenger lists suggest there were 1,500 on board who died, it's widely accepted that it was regularly and seriously overcrowded, and the death toll was over 4,300.
