As at the end of the last financial year 31 March 2011, 36 BBC staff were in receipt of a basic salary greater
than £200,000 per annum. The total of these annual salaries was £9,233,698, representing 0.3% of the total
collected in licence fee income for the last financial year 2010/2011 - £3,513 million.
Or the annual contribution of 62,601 licence-fee payers.
