TV News News

Not a huge haul for Helen Boaden's BBC tv news operatives at the RTS Journalism Awards - Newsnight and Paul Mason winning prizes, though not necessarily audiences; and Panorama bringing home three for the same Joe Casey undercover care investigation. Sky will be pleased to win "News Coverage" at home and abroad, pleased for Anna Botting, and delighted for Alex Crawford's fourth reporting gong.

The blog with the inside track pointed you to Al Jazeera as News Channel of The Year six weeks ago.
