At the end of last year, I ruminated on a vibrant future for Ariel letters, unfettered by print costs.  Missives to the BBC staff organ often provide us with insights to the real concerns of staff.  But now, Editor Candida Watson, in response to the question "Where are all the letters ?", says there just aren't any. There also seems to be no sub or spell-checker between Candida and the online output.
