Chris Evans produced a rather odd Festive Diary for the Mail on Sunday, including a wish to emulate Hugh Bonneville - or, rather, his character in Downton Abbey.

The question is, how might I become a bit more like Hugh Bonneville’s magnificent Earl Of Grantham? He’s the kind of character who once made Britain great and, one feels, could well do again. Happily, I have found such a man. Indeed, two. Because he’s a cross between Alexander Armstrong and my boss at Radio 2, Bob Shennan. So we’d better get on the phone to those two.
