A guid tale's no the worse o bein twice told

Time for another go at the "Scottish Six" ?  Former BBC Governor and Trustee Jeremy Peat has re-opened the argument about BBC evening bulletins in Scotland, with an article in The Scotsman.

"I am suggesting consideration of news programmes at six o’clock and/or 10 o’clock which work through a Scottish ‘lens’ – with emphasis and content suited to a primarily Scottish audience.”

The last time this was a hot potato cake was 1999, in the run-up to the opening of the new Scottish Parliament. Now, under DQF, it's even more uncomfortable for the BBC.  If Peat's campaign takes off, the me-too-ism of our nations would mean extra teams in Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast reshaping material from London.
