Andrea Gwilliam, Head of Internal Communications, is leaving the BBC. Sadly there'll be no cutting from Ariel to remember the occasion - Andrea had to close the print edition at the end of last year. Andrea's other contributions to comms at the BBC include the "Town Hall" meetings on DQF.
She came from Reuters three years ago - following a path carved by Ed Williams. Ed left the BBC for Edelman in October last year. Andrea's new boss, the saturnine Paul Mylrea, is presumably looking for a replacement, in between providing personal protection for DG Mark Thompson - see photo here.
