University challenge

University College London wants to build a second campus, on a site in Newham - right next to the Olympic Park. It's a 15 hectare plot called Greater Carpenters Neighbourhood.  It seems a shame it's across the road - surely having a university at its heart would have ensured a better, more vibrant legacy for the Park and Olympic Village than bashing it into flats ?
