Wales Online has some marginally interesting FOI stuff about BBC Wales expenses. The one that caught my eye was Rhodri Talfan Davies claiming £1690 for ten return journeys between his home in Bristol and Lodon, for meetings about Delivering Quality First.
A day return, even in peak, runs at around £60. Two singles would cost £110. The only way I can get to the average of £169 is to add a first class seat.
Rhodri lead the workstream answering the question "What will audiences want from the BBC in a converged fully digital world ?" Highly unlikely that the answers included one evening programme for the whole of BBC local radio. Or even audiopedia. Still I'm sure it will be valuable reading when published....
