Another casualty of the BBC's move to Salford is at the sports bulletin mike of 5Live for the last time today. "Music loving sports commentating and reporting person" Bob Ballard is going freelance - though he will be back with Auntie for a part of next year, for swimming (commentary) at the London Olympics.
His website needs a bit of work.
